Payment and Shipping Information

Notice for Non-EU Customers

If you only want to order a small, light item (one box of chocolates, or something similiar) and you live in Europe, our cart calculates too much shipping costs. Email us with your order and we will try to arrange lower costs.

Shipping Information

We accept worldwide orders, everything is shipped through Priority Mail (or Standard/Economy if you live outside Europe). We strive to ship orders within 3-5 business days, it will take anywhere from 4-8 days (Priority, within Europe), 6-15 days (Priority outside Europe), 3-4 weeks (Standard outside Europe; order weighs less than 2kg), or up to 10 weeks (Economy outside Europe; order weighs more than 2kg) for your order to arrive, this depends on your location.

However, any delivery period stated is approximate, it could always be a few days later. We will email you on the day your order has been shipped. UPDATE: every Priority order that is shipped outside Europe and weighs more than 500g will receive a tracking number, which can be used on the TNT website to track the package. This also applies for Economy orders over 2kg; these can now be tracked through TNT. Orders with Standard shipping outside Europe which weigh less than 2kg will NOT receive a tracking number and are very hard to trace; in general, NO compensation for these packages is provided; please keep this in mind when you decide your shipment method.

In the unlikely event that your package is lost in transit, Typical Dutch Stuff and the customer can use the proof of postage for EU orders or orders that weigh more than 2kg to claim a compensation. We never refund orders before a compensation has been claimed.

Please make sure you provide a CORRECT and COMPLETE shipping address. Please make sure the address entered at the payment screen is the same as the one you enter on the Paypal website. We will use the address you provided with Paypal, since this is the safest way for us; because that address has to match the adress on a creditcard (if used). We will not take ANY responsibility for a lost package if a customer provides inaccurate details. If you want the billing address to be different from the shipping address, you can enter that at the payment screen, and we will do the rest.

How can I pay my order?

We accept creditcard payments through Paypal and normal Paypal transactions. In order to pay, you DO NOT have to sign up with Paypal! It works as a normal creditcard processor. You do have the option to sign up, but you are not obligated to do so. You can also choose to pay with a bank transfer. For more information, please see below.

If you place an order and pay with a creditcard, it will appear on your credit card statement as 'DUTCHSTUFF'.

Bank Transfer

Next to Paypal, we also accept direct transfers; from your bankaccount into ours. Banktransfers within the EU are FREE!* It does cause a slight delay, because we can not check if the customer has really paid, until it has been added to our bankaccount. (It usually takes about 3-5 days for a payment to be made). If you feel uncomfortable with entering your creditcard information, or any other information online, this is the best available option. Just click the right payment option at the payment screen, and you will receive an additional email after placing your order with all the information you need.

*Any additional costs (such as fees) are meant to be paid by the customer, this can vary from country to country.

Shipping and Packing Costs

Please check the list below the shipping costs overview, to see in which shipping zone your location is. If you select the wrong zone, we will send you an invoice with the remaining costs. We will not ship your order until additional payment has been received. Thank you.

We calculate shipping costs according to the total weight of your order.

All prices include packing material, but exclude any additional costs. You may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Whether any charges are payable will depend on the value of the package and where you are having it delivered to. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be. You should contact your local customs office for further information. If there are any additional charges for customs clearance, they must be borne by you.

Stock Availability

If products you have ordered are out of stock we will replace them with other products of a similar price and nature (or by increasing the quantities of other products you have ordered) - unless you specify otherwise at the time you place the product in the shopping cart. (using the message field)


We normally do not add a paper copy of an order to the package, because this is all done electronically (you can print out a copy of your order). If you do require a paper copy of your order, then please mention this in the message field at the payment screen.
