Typical Dutch Stuff was created on a bright day back in the summer of 2003, when I decided to combine and share my love for all things delicious with the rest of the world. At the time, I had
a lot of friends who lived overseas and they always told me that they absolutely loved
the stroopwaffles I used to sent them. After hours of brainstorming while on the road in that summer,
the concept of Typical Dutch Stuff was formed.
After more than three years and thousands of happy customers, Typical Dutch Stuff continues to
be a succesful company, which is praised for its loyal and friendly customer service. Typical Dutch Stuff is still proud to be a home-based and one-woman run (with a little help of close friends) business.
I always wanted the site and the business to not only feature products that can be purchased, but I also wanted Typical Dutch Stuff to form a source for information and to be interactive. That is why I offer a selection of recipes, a blog, Dutch commercials, and many contests. This is just one of the key aspects that sets Typical Dutch Stuff apart from the rest!
We also have our own blog, which is updated weekly. It features the latest additions to the site, important notices, and special offers.
